Curriculum Goals
Phonics & Reading:
Focus on developing student's oral and written language skills by catering to common learning gaps found in literacy education.
Wellness:
Focus on self-awareness, accountability, and social-emotional skills.
STEM:
Through exploration of history, current events, and unexplored ideas in science, technology, engineering and math, students are encouraged to pursue careers in STEM fields.
InnovatEd
By allowing students to be creative and exposing them to various disciplines, they are able to find areas of interest in which they can excel and innovate.
Bible:
Incorporating biblical standards as an everyday, every-way subject reinforces culture, preservation and excellence while encouraging being "set-apart"..
Our Program
COE is a online program designed to supplement learning for homeschooled students who would benefit from a decolonized and Bible-centered education strategically aligned with the needs of black and brown communities.
Each class is held once a week
Live classes are held from Monday to Thursday
Classes are approximately 2 hours
Additional tutoring and social opportunities are offered
Integrate Bible culture and standards.
Incorporate play-based activities.
Provide opportunities to learn critical thinking skills.

Jasmine Brooks
TEACHER / CONTRIBUTOR
Jasmine holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently works as a Registered Behavior Technician. There she works with students in the area of behavior and treatment programs. She has worked with students for more than seven years and has a passion for working with our youngest learners.
Jemina Israel
TEACHER / CONTRIBUTOR
Jemina holds a CDA in preschool child development and is an inclusive learning specialist who specializes in tutoring and homeschooling, particularly with children who have autism and ADHD. She is passionate about meeting children's educational needs through an unschooling approach.

Children Of Excellence is a vision of teaching outside of the box, instructing our children the way that they learn, allowing them to be critical thinkers who solve the problems that plague their communities. Alongside biblical principles, our students need to be educated in the technologies and studies that will preserve their communities. Regardless of our own academic achievement, we can secure our children's futures with a strategic (and perhaps, unconventional) approach. Tabitha
Jazmin better known as "Tabitha" is an author, illustrator, creator, wife and homeschooling / "unschooling" mom of six. For the last 20 years she has held various roles in "Corporate America" but her passion lies in educating children with imagery and through a biblical lens.
